I find that I read posts from blogs that contribute thoughtful content occasionally. Blogs that post frequently, I tend to scan the headlines, but they are less helpful.

I prefer quality over quantity. Quality, of course, is subjective, based on my own needs–how it pertains to my interests both personal and professional.

Thinking about Facebook a lot more right now since Google+ is on the rise. I’m seeing less folks using Facebook for professional purposes. When I talk to other communications professionals they use Facebook for family, friends, and close contacts. The focus is more on the group or page of an organization and how it is relevant to individuals. Creating a personal connection from institutional to an individual.

The institution speaks as an individual.
